Clark Brooks
Clark Brooks is truly an undiscovered world class talent. By some miracle, Clark and Cap lived in the same city for many years, even played with the same bands for many years, but never met. In 2012, Clark offered to become involved in crew of the full length motion picture, The Society. During the first shoots, Clark mentioned he was a drummer and of course, Averill’s first thoughts were “Yeah, everybody is a drummer or knows a drummer.” “I had no idea,” said Averill after the first jam with Clark. “Clark is not only the most diverse drummer I have played with in years, he is also the drummer with the greatest ability to anticipate and play the most appropriate part real-time, without error or practice. This is imperative to our writing style, which depends on the basis of the songs being live energy. Clark is all about live energy. We believe most good music is killed in the studio and what survives is killed in the editing booth. Clark’s powerful signature style has become a part of the Old School sound.”
